Police have sought a 10-day remand of Mirpur police station Sub-Inspector Zahidur Rahman for interrogation in connection with the custodial death of garment-waste trader Mahbubur Rahman Sujan.
On Thursday, DB inspector Nibaron Chandro Bormon has placed Jahidur before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman, seeking 10-day remand.
The court will hold the remand hearing at 2pm.
Zahidur Rahman was held from Rajarbagh police lines on Wednesday.
