A pregnant wife was strangled death by her in-laws at Baznab village under Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi yesterday over family feud.
The deceased Tania Khatun, 22, wife of Rokan Mia, was a five-month pregnant.
Police and witnesses said Tania married Rokan of the same village around 16 months ago, adding that Rokan works in a foreign country and in absence of her husband, her father-in-law and other in-laws used to torture her.

On information, Shibpur police recovered the body and sent it to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
A case was filed with Shibpur police station, but no one was arrested till filing the report.
