The authorities of Windy Apparels Limited and Fountain Garments Manufacturing Limited have suspended another 157 readymade garments (RMG) workers due to their alleged involvement in illegal interruption in production and factory vandalising in Ashulia.
Ashulia Industrial Police Director Mustafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Windy Apparels fired 120 workers for their alleged involvement in vandalising its Ashulia factory.
In total, both companies have sacked 277 employees as of Thursday.
