A counsel of death row convict Salauddin Quader Chowdhury will meet him at Kashimpur High Security Prison on Tuesday.
Advocate Muhammad Huzzatul Islam Khan, a junior counsel for the BNP leader, confirmed this to BSS.
"I will meet him at the prison today and we have taken necessary permission in this regard. I will take direction from him on filing a review plea," he said.
On October 1, 2013, the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 sentenced Salauddin to death for his crimes against humanity.
Salauddin lodged appeal against his sentence on October 29, 2013 and the Appellate Division in its verdict on July 29, 2015, upheld the death sentence for former BNP lawmaker.
On October 1, the ICT-1 issued death warrant against Salauddin.
