A Madaripur court has granted seven days of remand for three accused in a case filed over the killing of two schoolgirls after rape in sadar upazila of Madaripur.
Senior Judicial Magistrate KM Zakaria passed the order after police produced the trio before it on Saturday afternoon.
The remanded accused are Shipon, Rafiq and Rokib. However, four other accused including prime accused Rana are still at large.

On Thursday, some unidentified miscreants killed class VIII students Suraiya and Happy after violating them.
Officials at Sadar Hospital said four unidentified youths brought the two girls of Mustafapur High School to the hospital in a critical condition, claiming that the duo took poison to commit suicide.

However, the girls, hailing from Mustafapur village, succumbed to their injuries around 5pm on that day.
A case was filed against seven people in connection with the murder of two schoolgirls on Friday.
