Six people died of dengue, and 1,561 new patients were hospitalized across the country in the 24 hours until 8am on Sunday.
With the latest fatalities, the dengue death toll has risen to 149 in the country this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The new deaths were reported in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna and Mymensingh divisions, it said.
Since January 1 this year, hospitals across the country have admitted a total of 51,837 dengue patients.
Of them, 48,093 have been discharged after recovery, according to the DGHS.
