Three more children died with measles-like symptoms in the 24 hours until 8am on Tuesday, pushing the country's combined death toll from confirmed and suspected measles cases to 828.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), all three of the latest fatalities were classified as suspected measles deaths.
The latest figures show that suspected measles deaths have risen to 733, while the number of laboratory-confirmed deaths remained unchanged at 95.
The outbreak also continued to spread, with 799 new suspected measles cases reported during the reporting period, taking the nationwide total to 125,544.
Meanwhile, 105 new laboratory-confirmed cases were recorded, raising the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 15,660.
Since March 15, a total of 108,441 patients with suspected measles have been hospitalized across the country. Of them, 104,235 have recovered, according to DGHS data.
