Bangladesh Navy on Wednesday organized a free medical camp at Bedkashi Collegiate School in Koyra upazila of Khulna district, under the supervision of the Commander, Khulna Naval Area. An experienced medical team from BNS Upasham conducted the day-long programme.
Around 1,000 people of all ages—including women, men and children—from Koyra and surrounding areas received treatment at the camp. Patients were diagnosed, treated and provided with necessary medicines free of charge.
In addition to common ailments, patients suffering from various complex conditions were also given appropriate treatment and health advice with professionalism and care. The initiative was met with widespread enthusiasm and relief among local residents, who expressed their gratitude for the Navy’s humanitarian effort.
Such outreach programmes are part of the Bangladesh Navy’s ongoing efforts to deliver healthcare services to underprivileged communities in coastal and island regions across the country.
