Fourteen new dengue patients were hospitalized in Dhaka in the 24 hours till Friday morning, the health authorities said reporting no new deaths.
Dengue has claimed 101 lives so far this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of them, 92 people died in Dhaka division alone, three in Mymensingh division, two each in Chittagong and Khulna divisions, and one each in Rajshahi and Barisal divisions.

As of Friday, some 168 dengue patients are receiving treatment in the country. Of them, 107 patients are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the capital.
Since January, some 28,099 patients have been admitted to different hospitals with dengue in the country. So far, 27,830 dengue patients have left hospitals after recovery, said the DGHS.
