A total of 15,938 people were administered the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while 170,902 received the second jab across the country on Thursday.
Among the vaccine recipients who received the first dose – 10,261 were male and 5,677 female – while those who received the second jab – 108,796 were male and 62,106 were female – said a Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) press release.
As of Tuesday, the total number of vaccine receivers of the first vaccine dose stands at 5745,085.
Among them, 3,563,218 are male and 2,181,867 female.
Besides, a total of 1,678,181 people received the second jab of the vaccine – 1,117,766 male and 560,433 female – as the countrywide vaccination campaign began on February 7.
People aged 40 and above now can get registered to receive the Covid-19 vaccine, Health Ministry sources said.
As many as 7,150,873 people had completed vaccine registration till 5:30pm on Tuesday.
