Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque on Saturday said Bangladesh received Covid-19 vaccines earlier than many other countries in the world and all the people of the country will get vaccinated gradually.
The minister said the development of the country has been continuing as present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is in power.
The health minister said this while exchanging views with the newly elected Mayor of Manikganj municipality Md Ramjan Ali, councillors and eminent citizens at the municipality auditorium.

The minister said the civic amenities for the people of Manikganj municipality must be increased as the government has taken up massive development programs for the local bodies.
Deputy Commissioner S M Ferdous, Superintendent of Police (SP) Rifat Rahman Shamim, Chairman of Manikganj District Council Advocate Golam Mohiuddin and Manikganj Pouro Awami League President Md Monayem Khan were among others present.
Later, the health minister also attended the extended meeting of Manikganj municipality Awami League.
