While the coronavirus pandemic is causing havoc all over the planet, crushing mental strength and financial abilities, an American medical expert has come up with a fresh warning for men that the deadly Covid-19 could cause erectile dysfunction.
Multiple media have published the report where infectious disease expert Dr Dena Grayson revealed that the Covid-19 has even left some patients short on their ability to perform in the bedroom.
In an interview with NBC, she said that as per new research men could have long-term issues of erectile dysfunction from the coronavirus because "we know that it causes issues in the vasculature," reports india.com.
"This is something that is of real concern. It's not just that this virus can kill you but can actually cause long-term, lifelong, potentially, complications."
The medical expert emphasized that the coronavirus is much deadlier for men and even a mild case of the virus can cause long-term issues.
Grayson warned people to not let their guards down while waiting for a vaccine.
She further said although the majority of people seem to recover from the disease, the researchers are now expecting to see more long-term negative consequences of this infection.
