Webinar to discuss Covid-19 impact on marginalized people

A webinar on the impact of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic on the marginalized people in Bangladesh is scheduled for Saturday.

The event is being organized by SiTara’s Story, a platform raising awareness on the mental health of adolescents in the country.

The webinar will be attended by Barrister Sara Hossain, advocate at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and honorary executive director of Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST); Bina D’ Costa, professor at the department of international relations in the Australian National University; Dina M Siddiqi, professor at the Faculty of Global Liberal Studies in New York University; and Muktasree Chakma, founder and executive director of Supporting People and Rebuilding Communities (SPaRC).
