A total 3,714 health services providers, including 1143 doctors, have been infected with Covid-19 across the country, so far.
According to a Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) press release on Tuesday evening, 1,123 of the patients are nurses and 1,548 are other hospital staff.
The highest 120 doctors were infected at Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.
A total 104 doctors were infected at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, 56 at SSMC Mitford, 21 at Asgar Ali Hospital, 18 at Kurmitola General Hospital, 17 at Kuwait Moitry Hospital, 11 each at the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS) and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), 10 at the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH), 9 each at the National Institute of Kidney Diseases & Urology (NIKDU) and National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), 7 at BIRDEM General Hospital, 6 at Shishu Hospital, 5 at Apollo Hospital (Evercare Hospital Dhaka) and 3 at Universal Hospital.
