New ministers to pay tribute at National Memorial Saturday

The newly appointed cabinet members will pay tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Memorial in Savar on Saturday.

They will also pay tribute to the graves of BNP founder and former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.

According to relevant sources, the new ministers will visit the National Memorial at around 1pm. After paying tribute, they will return to Dhaka.

Later, Local Government Minister Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Information Minister Andalib Rahman Partho, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashiduzzaman Millat, State Minister for Religious Affairs Shamim Kaiser Lincoln and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir will visit the graves of Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia.

They will lay wreaths at the graves, recite Surah Fatiha and offer special prayers seeking forgiveness for the departed souls.
