Ex-CA Yunus vacates Jamuna

Former Chief Advisor to the Interim Government Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus has officially vacated his residence at the state guest house Jamuna.

Dr Yunus departed the premises at approximately 3:30 PM on Saturday, heading to his private residence in Gulshan
.
The Jamuna State Guest House is slated for renovations, which will include essential maintenance and interior redecoration.

Following these upgrades, the building will be prepared for use by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. However, it remains unclear whether the Prime Minister will take up residence there, as he is currently residing at his personal home in Gulshan.

The Ministry of Housing and Public Works, in collaboration with the Public Works Department, has confirmed that all renovation work, including the interior decoration, will be completed within this month. Once the renovations are finalized, the Jamuna Guest House will be ready for the Prime Minister.
