Visitor entry to Secretariat suspended for Tuesday

The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that all visitor entry to the Secretariat will be suspended on Tuesday, citing unavoidable reasons.

The ministry issued the notice on Monday night, Faisal Hasan, the ministry’s director (public relations), confirmed.

The directive comes amid an ongoing movement by officers and employees at the Secretariat.

It also instructed the relevant authorities to take necessary measures in this regard.

Notably, public servants at the Secretariat continued their protests for a third consecutive day, vowing to continue demonstrations until the Government Service (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025 was repealed, calling on officials nationwide to join the movement.
