The Cabinet Division has issued a directive to all senior secretaries and secretaries of ministries and divisions, instructing them to ensure that the websites of various ministries, divisions and their subordinate offices and agencies are regularly updated on the National Information Portal.
In its letter, the Cabinet Division noted that a significant number of websites under the National Information Portal are not being updated consistently.
This directive has therefore been issued to address the issue.
The instruction, communicated through an official letter, has been sent to all ministries, divisions and the heads of their subordinate offices and agencies.
The letter states that many websites of ministries, divisions and affiliated offices and agencies are not being regularly updated particularly with regard to key information such as the names, designations, mobile numbers, telephone numbers, photographs and official email addresses of officers.
The letter further emphasizes the need for immediate and appropriate measures to be taken to ensure that all relevant information, including the details of officials, is regularly updated and accurately displayed on the respective websites.
