A day after the resignation of Interim Government Adviser Md Nahid Islam, Mahfuj Alam has been appointed as the Adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
A notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday confirmed Mahfuj Alam’s appointment to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
On Tuesday afternoon, Nahid Islam submitted his resignation letter to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the state guesthouse Jamuna.
He was responsible for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as well as the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology.
