Planning Minister MA Mannan on Friday said that the government was working to ensure urban facilities in rural areas, in line with the electoral manifesto of the Awami League.
"The government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, is working relentlessly to provide all sorts of civic facilities in villages," he said while inaugurating the newly-built Lakshmipur Government Primary School Bhaban at Sunamganj’s Chhatak Upazila.
In his speech, Mannan urged the business community to run their businesses maintaining honesty.
Among others, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mamunur Rahman also spoke on the occasion.
