The chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) will now enjoy the rank and status of a High Court judge.
Moreover, BTRC vice-chairman and commissioners have been given the status of secretary and additional secretary of the government respectively, reports UNB.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday.
