The oath-taking ceremony will take place at 3pm, the president's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told reporters at Bangabhaban on Thursday, reported UNB.

Later in the day, President Abdul Hamid formally invited Awami League President Sheikh Hasina to form the new government.
The 11th parliament is due to go in session after the current parliament expires on January 28.
