Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman has been appointed as the new ambassador of Bangladesh to Poland.
He is currently serving as a director general in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said a foreign ministry press release on Thursday.
A career diplomat Mahfuzur served in Bangladesh embassies in Yangon, Kuwait, Madrid and Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad in various capacities.
Graduated in Architecture from BUET, Rahman belongs to the 13th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre.
He also did his Master's degree in Foreign Affairs and International Trade from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
He also received a number of trainings from various institutions at both home and abroad.
He is married and blessed with three children.
