Australian High Commissioner in Dhaka Greg Wilcock met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia yesterday.
The hour-long meeting that began around 8pm was held at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office.
However, neither the BNP nor the Australian envoy briefed the reporters waiting outside the office.
Party sources said the BNP chief had discussed with the envoy about the country’s latest political situation, the January 5 parliamentary election and various other bilateral issues.
