Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi paid a courtesy call on Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed on Monday, with the two sides discussing bilateral relations and areas of common interest.
The meeting also focused on security cooperation between Bangladesh and India, according to officials.
Trivedi expressed India’s interest in further strengthening people-centered cooperation between the two countries in all areas based on mutual interests, welfare and sensitivity.
The meeting came as Dhaka and New Delhi seek to further advance bilateral engagement and cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
