The Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) has announced a new system for allocating appointment slots for visa applications, which will come into effect on July 1.
Under the new arrangement, applicants will no longer be able to select their preferred appointment time slots. Instead, the system will automatically assign an available time slot when the application is submitted.
According to IVAC, all Indian Visa Application Centres across Bangladesh will begin accepting applications through a time-slot-based submission system for all categories of visas from July 1.
The appointment schedule will be generated sequentially based on each centre’s daily application-handling capacity. As a result, applicants will not be required to choose a time slot separately during the appointment booking process.
To ensure the smooth and timely submission of visa applications, IVAC has advised applicants to arrive at their designated centre at the time specified in their appointment confirmation.
