No comment on two formulas: Mozena

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena refused to comment on the formulas of poll-time government laid down by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and opposition chief Khaleda Zia.

“I am an outsider,” he said in response to a relevant question after the US and Bangladesh penned Counter-Terrorism Cooperation Initiative agreement on Tuesday.

He however said that the two proposals opened a door of dialogue between the two major political parties.

Mozena hoped that a solution will emerge after discussions. “It will be good for Bangladesh.”

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for the formation of a cabinet comprising of lawmakers from all parties to oversee the upcoming general elections.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on the other hand laid down the proposal of a body consisting of members with experience in previous caretaker cabinets for the elections.
