Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin is scheduled to meet officials from the US Embassy on Thursday.
The CEC’s office confirmed the meeting on Wednesday.
According to officials, US Chargé d'affaires Tracey Ann Jacobson will meet the CEC at 2 pm on Thursday.
This will be the first meeting between the Election Commission and the US Embassy since August 5 last year.
