PM Hasina to return home Sunday from New Delhi

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave New Delhi for Dhaka on Sunday completing her India tour.

A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the premier and her entourage, will take off from Palam Airport, New Delhi at 12pm.

The flight is scheduled to reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3pm.

The prime minister went to India on Friday for the G20 Summit in New Delhi at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had a bilateral meeting with Modi on Friday evening at the Indian PM's residence.

Three MoUs -- on cooperation in agriculture research, cultural exchange programs, easing transactions between BDT and Indian Rupee (the common people of the two countries) -- were signed before the bilateral meeting.

During her three-day visit, the Bangladesh prime minister addressed two sessions of the G20 Leaders’ Summit at Bharat Mandapam Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi with the theme of ‘One Earth, One Family and One Future’ on Saturday.

On the sidelines of the summit, the premier met four to five other visiting leaders on Saturday.

They are Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, UAE President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of Korea Park Jin and Argentinian President Alberto Angel Fernandez.
