Bangladesh will ask Russia to amend the relevant clauses of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant (RNPP) project financing agreement in the next meeting later this month.
The matter will be raised in the meeting of Bangladesh-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission (BR-IGC), sources said.
The Bangladesh delegation will seek to make some amendments in the agreement in the meeting.
According to sources in the Economic Relations Division, the three-day meeting of the Bangladesh-Russia Intergovernmental Commission (BR-IGC) on Trade, Economy, Science and Technical Cooperation will be held from March 13 to March 15.
Economic Relations Department (ERD) Secretary Sharifa Khan will lead the Bangladesh delegation in that virtual meeting.
