A Bangladeshi man has died from Covid-19 in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hasan, 38, son of Liakat Ali of Barahatia union under Lohagara upazila of Chittagong, reports UNB.
Hasan’s younger brother Helal Uddin said, Hasan used to work at a market in Madina Taiba. He caught fever and cold six days ago and was later hospitalized.
His cousin, who also works in Madina, informed about Hasan’s death over phone today, said Helal.
Till Tuesday, the fast-spreading coronavirus, a pandemic declared by the World Health Organization (WHO), has claimed more than 39,000 lives and infected over 802,000 people worldwide, according to Worldometer.
