Diplomats of different countries have joined the opening session of the 21st National Council of Awami League.
The two-day council began at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka on Friday, reports BSS.
While moderating the council, Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary and Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud announced that diplomats of the USA, the UK, Japan, Germany, North Korea, India, South Korea, the European Union, China, Vietnam, Iraq, Palestine and Thailand and the representatives of Democracy International and the Department for International Development (DFID) joined the council.
Dr Hasan Mahmud thanked the diplomats and representatives for joining the council.
