Indian Congress Party All India Congress Committee General Secretary (Uttar Pradesh East) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has always been a great inspiration for fighting for what she believed in with bravery and perseverance.
In a tweet on Sunday, Priyanka, also the daughter of Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, said: “An overdue hug from Sheikh Hasina Ji whom I have been waiting to meet again for a long time. Her strength in overcoming deep personal loss and hardship and fighting for what she believed in with bravery and perseverance is, and always will be, a great inspiration for me.”

The picture she shared on Twitter is presumed to be taken after Sheikh Hasina exchanged pleasantries with Indian National Congress President Sonia Gandhi at Hotel Taj Mahal in New Delhi, adds BSS.
The premier congratulated Priyanka Gandhi, who accompanied her mother, for joining politics. Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was also present at the meeting.
