Bangladesh and the European Union (EU) will sign a bilateral financing agreement on the Human Capital Development Program 2021 (HCDP21).
The agreement will be signed on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh Ambassador Rensje Teerink and Secretary, Economic Relations Division (ERD) Monowar Ahmed will sign the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the NEC-II conference room of the ERD, an official said.
The overall amount of the program is €205m, including €150m being allocated for primary education, €50m for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and €5m for complementary support for both sub sectors.
