Indian foreign secretary to visit Dhaka on Thursday

Sources at Government of Tripura disclosed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. Subrahmanyam, in his two-day official visit, would also meet his Bangladeshi counterpart Md Shahidul Haque to discuss various issues between the countries. Sources said major topics of discussion at the meeting would include activities by terrorist groups along the Indo-Bangla borders Northeast Indian states as well as West Bengal. The pending Teesta water-sharing issue would also have high importance at the discussion, they added.
