Bangladesh PM’s media advisor visits Kamalasagar border haat

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Media Affairs Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury has visited the Kamalasagar Border Haat in Tripura, India.
The noted journalist visited the haat on Monday.
He was accompanied by Agartala's Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh Mohammad Shakhawat Hossain during the visit.
Iqbal Sobhan was hosted by the Nodal Officer of District Magistrate Office Tapan Das, Sub Divisional Magistrate Nantu Ranjan Das and Sub Division Development Authority Joydip Chakraborty.
He also spoke to the customers and vendors about their complaints, suggestions and expectations from the border haat.
The locals informed him about issues regarding supply of expired goods, crisis of potable water facilities and lack of sanitation facilities in the haat.
Later, the prime minister’s adviser directed the Joint Border Haat Management Committee to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
