Malaysian deputy prime minister due Sunday

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will pay a brief visit to Bangladesh to observe the situation of the Rohingya refugees. Hamidi will arrive in Dhaka on Sunday. He will visit visit several Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar later on the day. Returning from Cox's Bazar, Hamidi will hold a meeting with Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali at the state guest house Padma. He is also scheduled to call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister will leave Dhaka on Sunday night. Recently, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has said that Bangladesh is not alone in tackling the Rohingya refugee crisis. Malaysia was one of the first countries to send humanitarian aid for the Rohingya refugee who feld into Bangladesh amid recent crackdown of Myanmar forces in Rakhine state.
