Alison Blake has been appointed as the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh in succession to Robert W Gibson.
The announcement of the change came in a press release issued on the website of the British government on Monday.
Blake will take up her appointment the January next.
Previously Alison Blake worked in Islamabad as Deputy High Commissioner. She also served as the First Secretary in Washington DC, and UK Delegation to the NATO.
