Members of the Bangladesh Army and the United States Marine Corps participated in a joint fitness and camaraderie-building exercise organized by the US Embassy in Dhaka.
The Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test aimed to strengthen teamwork, trust, and operational readiness among personnel from both forces.
The exercise took place at the Bangladesh Army Stadium, the US Embassy said in a press release Thursday.
A representative from the US Defence Attaché Office highlighted that the event reflected the long-standing partnership between the United States and Bangladesh.
“Joint training initiatives enhance mutual trust and coordination between our forces and advance our shared commitment to regional security,” the representative said.
The exchange program is part of ongoing US–Bangladesh military cooperation, which includes joint training, humanitarian assistance, disaster response, and professional military education.
The US Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthen cooperation and ties between the armed forces of both countries.
