The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) Executive MBA Program hosted a vibrant and inspiring event titled “EMBA Converge 2025: Farewell & Orientation” on Friday, celebrating the dual milestones of welcoming two new EMBA batches and bidding farewell to two graduating cohorts.
The event brought together students, alumni, faculty and distinguished guests for a meaningful occasion marked by celebration, learning and connection.
The gathering was honored by the presence of two renowned industry leaders as guest speakers, Malik Kabir, HR director of Bata Bangladesh and AKM Fahim Mashroor, CEO of Bdjobs.com, who shared insightful perspectives on leadership, career development and the evolving landscape of business in Bangladesh.
The program commenced with a warm welcoming speech by Professor Dr Sarwar Ahmed, dean of the ULAB School of Business, who emphasized the importance of academic growth, ethical leadership and lifelong learning.
This was followed by a heartfelt thanking speech by Dr Shamsuddin Ahamad, director of the EMBA Program and Mohammad Tawhid Reaz, coordinator of the EMBA Program, where both of them expressed their appreciation for the contributions of both the incoming and outgoing students and the unwavering support of faculty and industry partners.
The evening concluded with a lively cultural segment, featuring music, performances and shared moments of joy among students and faculties.
