The Election Commission (EC) is holding the second day of its dialogue with political parties ahead of the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election.
The talks began at the EC office in Agargaon at 10:30am on Sunday, with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin presiding.
According to EC officials, the morning session (till 12pm) includes discussions with Gono Forum, Gono Front, Islamic Front Bangladesh, Islami Oikya Jote, Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) and Bangladesh Jatiya Party.
The afternoon session, scheduled from 2pm to 4pm, will include Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), Bangladesh National Awami Party (NAP), Trinamool BNP, Krishak Sramik Janata League, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis and Islami Andolan Bangladesh.
The EC began the series of dialogues on November 13, holding discussions with 12 parties on the first day.
