The Election Commission has postponed the polls for the post of vice-chairman in the Bogra Sadar upazila election in the third phase.
The EC took the decision due to a mismatch between the symbols allocated to candidates and those printed on the ballot paper.
EC Joint Secretary Forhad Ahmed Khan said that voting is going on for the two posts of chairman and female vice chairman. Voting for the post of general vice chairman has been postponed due to incorrect election symbols.
EC will take action against the returning officer after the polls.
