Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said that he would not hesitate to repay the trust of the people of Narail and Lohagara, who had embraced him and voted for him with affection.
He said these things to the people who came to meet him at his residence after his overwhelming victory in the 12th national election on Tuesday.
Mashrafe was overwhelmed by the affection of people of all classes and professions who came from far to greet their beloved person.
The former captain of the national cricket team said to everyone: "If God keeps me alive and healthy, I will try to be by your side in any problem in the future as I have been with you in the past days."
After exchanging pleasantries with everyone, an emotional atmosphere was created in front of his Narail house on the eve of leaving for Dhaka.
Later, he stopped at Alamunsi junction in Lohagara and exchanged greetings with people.
He also visited several areas, including Narail City intersection, Muchirpol, Swarnapali, Bandaghat, and shared pleasantries with businesses, well-wishers, and people from different classes and professions on Monday.
Notably, Boat candidate Mashrafe received 189,102 votes to win the Narail-2 seat. With 4,041 votes in the Hammer symbol, Bangladesh Workers’ Party candidate Sheikh Hafizur Rahman was his closest competitor.
