The Election Commission has issued an order for the withdrawal of three officers-in-charge (OC) of separate police stations and one upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) in order to conduct the 12th national parliament election freely and fairly.
The commission made this decision on Sunday night.
The OCs are from Kalkini in Madaripur and Tarakanda and Fulpur of Mymensingh, while the UNO is from Fulpur.
The Election Commission also ordered them to be replaced with suitable officers there.
The 12th national parliament election is scheduled to be held on January 7.
