A delegation of the top 14 leaders of nine political parties met Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganabhaban on Thursday evening.
At this time, the leaders discussed the various issues of the national election with the premier, according to an official release of the prime minister’s press wing.
They thanked Sheikh Hasina for the various steps taken to conduct a free, fair and acceptable election.
The leaders also praised the comprehensive development of Bangladesh under the leadership of Bangabandhu.
Later, the delegation presented a calligraphy to Sheikh Hasina.
The political parties are – Bangladesh Islamic Front, Bangladesh Khilafat Movement, Islami Oikya Jote, Bangladesh Muslim League, Islamic Front Bangladesh, Bangladesh Supreme Party, Bangladesh Islami Oikya Jote, Ashekane Auliya Oikya Parishad and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh.
