PM Hasina will cast vote at Dhaka City College

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will cast her vote at the Dhaka City College polling centre on Sunday morning.

The college, situated at Dhanmondi Road No 2 in the capital, is the polling centre of the Awami League president, the prime minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan told UNB over phone on Friday, reports UNB.

Sources in the Prime Minister’s Office say that Sheikh Hasina will go to the polling centre and cast her vote around 8am Sunday.

The 11th general election is scheduled to be held across Bangladesh on Sunday.

Voting will start from 8am and continue without a break until 4pm that day.

Dhaka City College centre falls under Dhaka 10 constituency, which comprises Dhanmondi, Hazaribagh, New Market and Kalabagan areas.

Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh is contesting the polls with Awami League's ticket from this seat, and his main contender is Abdul Mannan from BNP.
