BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam alleged that Awami League will try election fraud in the upcoming general polls and which is why polling centres need to be properly regulated in order for BNP to take office.
He made several accusations against the ruling Awami League, on Wednesday, at 13 different street rallies while campaigning in the Mohammadpur, Nargun and Jagannathpur unions of the Thakurgaon 1 constituency.
He claimed the ruling party government is an oppressive one promoting violence, corruption, extremism, murder, abduction and expressed concerns over Election Commission’s neutrality.
In this regard, he has asked his BNP activists and supporters to play a courageous role in establishing people’s right to vote.
The leader had also declared that when his party comes to power, they will provide free education for girls up to the bachelor’s degree and provide employment opportunities as well as unemployment benefits.
BNP leaders and activists as well as party leaders and their activists along with huge crowds of supporters attended the rallies.
