Jatiya Party (JaPa) Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader has said that the meeting regarding the seat distribution between the Awami league (AL) led-14 party alliance and the grand alliance was satisfactory.
Ruhul spoke about the matter after a meeting with JaPa district leaders Feni 3 at the JaPa chairman’s office in city’s Banani area on Saturday, reports BSS.
He said: “The discussion about the seat distribution of the grand alliance was satisfactory and smooth…. This discussion will continue further.”
Ruhul hoped that the JaPa will get satisfactory number of seats in the upcoming 11th general polls.
“There is a possibility of publishing the list of the grand alliance candidates within a short time,” he added.
Feni District President Nazma Akhter chaired the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Sunil Shuvo Roy, SM Faisal Chisti, Major (retd) Khaled Akhter, Feni District JaPa Member Secretary Khandaker Nazrul Islam, Feni district leader Mizan Shah Alam, Motahar Hossain Chowdhury Rashed, Iqbal Alamgir, Azizur Rasul Milon, Mujibur Rahman Babul, Abu Sufian, Advocate Rezaul Haque Robi and Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan, among others. The Feni 3 JaPa candidate Lt Gen (retd) Masud Uddin Chowdhury was also present.
