Expelled BCL leader threatens RU staff with death

An expelled leader from the Bangladesh Chhatra League Rajshahi University unit allegedly gave threatened the life of an employee of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahaman hall of the university.

Hatem Ali, who received the threat, registered a complaint with the hall provost, but he decided to transfer him without assigning him any security.

Hatem Ali, a guard of Bangabandhu Hall, recently filed a complaint with the hall authority.

The BCL leader was identified as Mustakim Billah who was earlier expelled from the post of environment affairs secretary of RU unit BCL for vandalising the Islamic History department on May 13.

A few days ago, Billah asked Hatem Ali to go to his room at Bangabandhu hall to discuss a matter. When Hatem Ali did not go to his room, Billah threatened to kill him within 24 hours.

When contacted, Billah refused the allegation.
