Madrasa students perform better than general students

Students of the madrasa education system have performed better in the Junior Dakhil Certificate, equivalent to Junior School Certificate, examinations this year.

An analysis of the results which was published yesterday and showed, that in terms of pass rate, the percentage of madrasa students was higher than that of students from the  general education system.

This year 91.11% madrasa students passed. A total of 313,680 students took the Junior Dakhil Certificate examinations of which 285,796 students passed.

In eight general education boards the pass rate was 89.71%. A total of 1,48,700 students took part in the examinations, and of them 1,507,675 passed.

Last year the pass rate was also higher among madrasa students with 90.87% compared to the 86.11% of general education system students.
